DESCRIPTION
Peter Tiger has come so far, and his future family is going to have the joy of watching him continue to blossom. Peter was rescued from a trailer where dozens of unsocialized cats were living together. Because of his past, learning to trust people has taken time, patience, and a lot of courage. Over the past several months, though, he's made incredible progress and continues to become a little braver every day. You'll find Peter hanging out in our Lap Cat Lounge, where he's working hard on building confidence. His secret to happiness? Catnip and gentle scratches with a back scratcher! Once you're one of Peter's trusted people, he'll happily roll around, soak up the attention, and show you just how sweet he really is. Peter is looking for a calm, patient home that will let him settle in at his own pace. He isn't going to be the cat who jumps into your lap on day one, but the bond you'll build together will be well worth the wait. Peter would love to be adopted with his best friend, **Davey**, since the two have been on this journey together and find comfort in one another. That said, he's also happy to find a home of his own with someone who understands that trust takes time. If you're willing to let Peter write the next chapter of his story at his own pace, you'll be rewarded with a truly special companion.
