Did he arrive with that name? Yes.
Do we know exactly where it came from? Nope.
Would we ever dream of changing a name that cool? Absolutely not.

Ashy Slashy is the total package: handsome, friendly, and convinced that people exist primarily to give him attention. He loves affection, gets along well with other cats, and is more than happy to make himself at home anywhere the cuddles are flowing. Life hasn't always been kind to this guy. He came to us with a fractured femur after what we believe was likely a kick from a person. Needless to say, whoever did that clearly didn't deserve him. With plenty of cage rest, good veterinary care, and time to heal, Ashy Slashy has made an excellent recovery and has been cleared to start his next chapter. Now all he needs is a family that will treat him the way he always should have been treated: with kindness, love, and maybe a little admiration for his legendary name. Ashy Slashy is too good for the world he came from. Luckily, we're confident there's a better one waiting for him.
