Bertha is the best girl ever. She looks grumpy, but we promise the face doesn’t match the personality at all!!

Since her foster parents have taken her in, she’s opened up so much and her wonderful silly side has come out. She loves chirping (not really robust enough to be called a meow), playing with little dangly toys, and sitting inside of bags.

She is so affectionate and loving, and will bump her head against any surface within a foot of her face (hands, doorframes, etc.). She loves getting rubbed and has even started sleeping in beds at night with her foster parents! She loves just being chill and hanging out near you when she’s not actively getting loved on, and is such a sweet and comforting presence.

All in all, Bertha is such a sweet, funky girl. She's very mellow and low maintenance, but ready to accept and give love whenever you are. She may take a little bit of time to get comfortable in her new home but once she knows she’s safe and sound, she’s super cool. Between her squeaks, head butts, and company, she makes an awesome cat.

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
