I'm Max, a handsome 7-year-old black tabby boy with a heart full of love to give!

I'm a bit nervous here at the shelter, but my previous owner reports that I enjoy sitting beside human companions and being brushed once I am comfortable. I may even have a tad of a preference for the ladies! Overall, I prefer quieter people who respect that I am not sure about being picked up, so affection needs to be on my own terms.

I am a sweet boy but I have no experience living with other cats or any other pets. So I would likely prefer to live alone. Since I do not love loud noises, I would likely do better without kiddos running around.
