Meet Cricket!

Cricket is a sweet 5 month old Bengal mix who has already come such a long way in his short little life.

Cricket was born outside to a mama cat who had been abandoned, on a property where the humans were unfortunately not very kind. Because of his rough beginning, Cricket learned early that people were something to be cautious of. But since coming into rescue, this sweet boy has been learning something completely new: humans can be safe, gentle, and full of love.

And he is doing SO well!

Cricket is still a shy little guy, so he isn't going to be the kitten who immediately runs into a stranger's arms. He needs a patient, loving person who will continue the work we've started and give him the time he needs to build trust at his own pace.

His secret weakness? CHURUS. This boy LOVES them. Break out a Churu and suddenly Cricket gets a whole lot braver, he'll even crawl right into your lap for that delicious tube of kitty magic!

He also absolutely LOVES other cats and would be especially happy in a home with a friendly kitty companion. As he's gotten to know our volunteers, we've watched more and more of his sweet personality come out. Every little milestone feels huge, the closer he gets, the more he trusts, and the more we get to see the wonderful kitten hiding underneath that cautious exterior.

Cricket doesn't need someone to "fix" him. He just needs someone willing to show him, over and over again, that he's safe now.

For the right patient soul, we think earning Cricket's trust is going to be something incredibly special.

Cricket comes with the following treatments that have been completed:

-Microchip
-1 year subscription paid for on the microchip
-Fvrcp vaccine (#1 of 2)
-Felv vaccine (#1 of 2)
-Praziquantel dewormer 1 and 2
-Pyrantel dewormer 1 and 2
-Vectra flea control (good for 30 days)
-Fecal exam x 2 (both negative)
-Fiv/Felv blood test (Negative)
-Nail trim
-Bath
-Is Crate trained
-Litter trained
-Pen trained

He will go home with the following:
-1 free exam coupon at Best Care Animal Hospital.
-A folder with vaccine certificates and all medical history.
-Favorite toys
-Favorite blanket
-A small sample bag of Kitten food that he has been fed since he became age appropriate.
The adoption fee is $375 each
