Acorn - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Bayonne, New Jersey

Meet Acorn!

2.5 months old • Tabby & White • Bonded with Maple

Sweet little Acorn may be a bit more reserved than her sister Maple, but underneath that shy exterior is a playful, loving kitten with a wonderfully quirky personality!

Acorn and Maple were found together in a feral colony. Their trapper brought them to a foster home so they could be socialized and discover that people, cozy homes, toys, and plenty of love aren't so bad after all.

Acorn is still working on coming completely out of her shell, but she is very sweet and loves having fun with her favorite person. One of her favorite games is peekaboo—although Acorn has a rather creative interpretation of the game!

Her foster mom says Acorn loves finding unusual places to hide, including the dog crate and even the candy bowl! Apparently, when you're a kitten, anything can become a hiding spot.

And once evening arrives, Acorn and Maple are ready to PARTY! According to their foster mom, “The girls are very active in the evening. They get the Zoomies around 10pm that go on for hours.” So if you're looking for kittens who will provide nightly entertainment, these two have you covered!

Acorn and Maple have been through a lot together, and their bond is incredibly important. They comfort each other, play together, and have grown into happy little kittens side by side. They must be adopted together so they can continue their journey as best friends.

Acorn may need a little patience as she continues to gain confidence, but her sweet nature and playful spirit make her well worth the wait. Give her a little time, love, and understanding, and you'll discover what a special little girl she is.
