DESCRIPTION
Named for the cute little dot on her tongue, Dottie has already experienced way more than any cat should. And she's only 1 year old! Born as a stray, Dottie learned to survive 'on the streets', never being sure of where her next meal would be coming from. She had 2 litters before she was a year old. Luckily for Dottie, a kind soul took her in when she was pregnant for the 2nd time and kept her safe, warm and fed. After she gave birth to 7 kittens, her good Samaritan reached out to SCC and Dottie and her babies came into foster care. Now that Dottie's babies are weaned, she has been spayed and microchipped and is ready for her new fur-ever home.Unfortunately, her first year on the street left Dottie positive for FIV. But in an indoor only home, she is expected to be able to live a long and healthy life. Dottie is sweet but reserved as life so far has taught her to be. She's looking for someone who will spoil her silly and help make up for her difficult life so far. Someone who will teach her how to trust and be the carefree kitty that she has never had a chance to be.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.
