If ever there was a kitten who deserved a sweet ending, its Woody.
His formal name is Wooder Ice—because this tiny orange boy was found as a baby inside the engine of a car at Ritas!
Somehow, amazingly, Woody survived his terrifying adventure with only a burned paw. He was brought to safety, given the care he needed, and his little paw has completely healed. Today, you would never know he had ever been injured.
Now Woody is busy making up for lost time—and doing all the things a happy, healthy kitten should be doing.
He is playful, silly, curious and FUN. He loves running around, chasing toys and wrestling with his foster besties, Jack Skellington and Sally.
Woody can be a little shy when he first meets someone new, but don't let that fool you. Give him a little time to get comfortable and you'll quickly discover the sweet boy underneath.
And apparently nobody told his purr motor that he's supposed to be shy... because this boy PURRS ALL THE TIME!

Woody absolutely adores Jack and Sally, and we would LOVE to see him adopted with one—or even BOTH—of his foster buddies.
Woody's life could have turned out very differently that day at Rita's. Instead, this tough little kitten got his second chance.
He survived the engine.
His paw healed.
He found his best friends.
