Tawny and her kittens came to ASR from a small rural animal control. At first Tawny was very protective of her kittens, but her foster mom earned her trust. Tawny was a great mommy and it is her turn to find a home of her own. The vet estimated her to be about 2 years old. She is a very petite girl at only 7 lbs, but her tortitude shows through. Tawny is affectionate and enjoys cuddling next to her foster. We are not sure how she would be with other cats or a dog. They would need to respect her space. Tawny takes a little bit of time to feel safe with a new person and can get skittish, so she needs a calmer home that will be patient while she gets comfortable.
