DESCRIPTION
This gorgeous gal arrived at AAC with her nursing kitten, who has since been adopted. Saffron also had pelvic injuries, and needed weeks of kennel rest, so we moved her into a foster home. Saffron made a complete recovery, and although she is very shy with humans (she tends to run and hide), she is great with other cats. She may benefit from having a cat friend in her new, quiet home. She is a member of our Cactus Cats program, and is receiving extra attention from staff and volunteers, which is helping her build her trust in humans. Saffron can sometimes be petted, but she is hand shy from being medicated for so many weeks. We believe that in time, and with patience, Saffron will learn to trust humans and be a loving companion. I am a DHC, and I have my own webpage: http://www.desperatehousecats.info/flyers/Saffron6470.pdf The adoption fee is waived for Saffron and ALL Desperate Housecats!
