Meet Sable, Savannah & Sahara!
Sable, Savannah, and Sahara are three tabby sisters who are equal parts affectionate, adventurous, food-obsessed, and absolutely ridiculous.
They came into foster care when they were only about 3 weeks old after their mother was tragically killed on the road. A fourth sibling sadly did not survive. These girls were barely past the bottle-baby stage, but they fought hard, grew stronger, and blossomed into three happy, fearless kittens with very distinct personalities.
Sable is the more cautious sister. Being picked up makes her panic, so she needs a family who will let affection happen on her terms. But don't mistake that for not wanting to be close—Sable loves to come sit beside you and hang out with her people. She just prefers to keep all four paws under her own control! She has also been known to run up her foster mom's leg like a tree, a habit they are very much working on.
Savannah and Sahara have always believed they should be right in the middle of whatever their humans are doing. If something is happening in the house, these two assume their supervision is required. They are affectionate, curious, playful, and love being close to their people.
Savannah is especially fascinated by water. Shell sit on the side of the bathtub and watch the water like shes studying it for an upcoming exam.
And then theres the food.
These three will steal food right out of your mouth—and from the dogs, too. They will eat absolutely anything! Open a can of wet food and prepare to be rushed by three tiny tabby tornadoes. They have also been known to help themselves to the dogs food bowl, so families with canine siblings may want to supervise mealtimes unless their dog is particularly generous about sharing.
Speaking of dogs, these girls have been raised around them and have ZERO fear of dogs. They are dog friendly, confident around canine companions, and would likely do very well in homes with friendly, cat-safe dogs.
They love toys, exploring, investigating household activities, and generally being involved in whatever is going on. They are curious, social, funny little girls who have come a very long way from the tiny orphaned kittens who first arrived in foster care.
And apparently three sisters werent enough.
More recently, they met Lonnie, another foster kitten who had been found at a Sonic by a police officer and raised separately. Sable, Savannah, and Sahara welcomed her with open paws from the moment they met. Lonnie may not be their biological sister, but the girls seem to have officially adopted her into the family.
Sable, Savannah, and Sahara had a heartbreaking beginning, but they have grown into playful, loving, wonderfully quirky kittens ready for their next chapter. Whether they head to forever homes together or separately, each one is guaranteed to bring plenty of affection, entertainment, and just the right amount of chaos.
