Meet Rodeo: A Big, Gentle Boy with the Softest Heart!

Rodeo is not just handsome—he’s a 17–18-pound gentle giant with an incredibly sweet personality.

Estimated to be around three years old, Rodeo is calm, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing. And despite his impressive size, this big boy has a kitten’s heart! He absolutely loves playing with kittens and will happily wrestle and romp with them like he’s one of the little guys.

At the cattery, Rodeo’s meows are almost a whisper, but his personality speaks volumes. He’s gentle, friendly, and loves being around other cats. He was also fostered with dogs and has shown what a wonderful companion he can be.

Rodeo is FIV positive, but this doesn’t define him. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, healthy lives, and the virus is primarily spread through deep bite wounds rather than normal, peaceful interactions. Many FIV-positive cats live happily alongside other cats.

If you’re looking for a big, gentle companion with a playful kitten’s spirit and a heart full of love, Rodeo may be your guy.

Interested in adopting Rodeo? Please complete an adoption application on the New Hope Animal Rescue website at https://nhanimalrescue.org/apply-to-adopt/. We do not use Petfinder inquiries as applications, and submitting an application is the best way to arrange a meet-and-greet with this handsome boy.
