Meet Mango Lasse!

If you're looking for a velcro kitty, Mango Lasse is absolutely your girl! She loves her people, purrs and makes biscuits with the best of them, and wants to be by your side as much as she can. If you're relaxing or watching a movie, she happily settles in and joins you. With her stumpy tail and rabbit-like hops, you'll fall in love with her when she bunny hops right into your lap, and then talks to you with her soft conversational chirps!

If you're up and moving around, Mango follows you from room to room like a little puppy! She loves to play anytime you engage with her and is always a willing participant. She also adores fluffy and cozy places - so if you put a comfy cat bed down, she will use it!

Mango can be nervous in chaotic or loud situations (she does better on gabapentin when there is a large gathering or fireworks), so she would prefer a calmer home, but she adjusts wonderfully to many typical things. Prior to arriving at APA! she had an injury to her hind legs and is sensitive to being touched there. She is good with gentle kids, but because she can be nervous when startled, it is best if she is supervised around little kiddos. We think she could live with another like-minded, chill, and easy-going cat, given a proper and slow introduction.

Mango would do best in a home that enjoys a friendly, people-oriented cat! She likes being near her humans and joining in on whatever they're doing, but she's also content relaxing nearby when you're busy. Whether it's someone who works from home, a family that enjoys interactive pets, or someone who simply appreciates companionship, she fits in easily. She adapts well to the household's energy and is happy as long as she has a person to share space with, and who helps her feel safe if she gets anxious.
