Imported Obsidian, or Obi to his friends, is a happy-go-lucky little guy with a cheerful personality and a lot to say! This classic marbled tabby believes communication is the foundation of any good relationship, and he keeps his people well informed. He'll let you know when a door needs opening, when he could use some moral support before making a daring leap from the couch, and whether your massage technique is up to his standards. He's chatty, expressive, and entertaining, and it doesn't take long before you start to recognize his different little meows and what he's trying to tell you.

When he's not keeping up the conversation, Obi is playful, curious, and enthusiastic about pretty much everything. He has two favorite pastimes: chasing a wand toy, and trying to convince the resident dog that right now would be an excellent time to play! He loves cat-friendly dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine brother or sister who's willing to join in the fun. He hasn't had any feline friends yet, but would likely enjoy having another FeLV+ cat as a playmate, too.

Imported Obsidian has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption.
