Very Sweet, Mild-mannered, Beautiful

Coco Jones is a young cat - still a teenager, practically! - and she has a gentle, easy-going, and kind nature. She likes to have a getting-to-know-you period, and then she will share her love of cuddling with you! She prizes some alone time, but is happy to snuggle in bed with you. And she welcomes you scooping her up for hugs and kisses before you leave for work!

She shows her kitten energy when playing with the rope stick toy! And she might even go a little crazy climbing around on her cat tree. She sometimes makes little chirpy sound that are soooo very cute.

Coco hasn't been at APA! long, and so far she has done well with the women, men, kids, and dogs she has met. She doesn't claim to love the dogs in her foster home, but they keep their distance from each other and things are peaceful.

Coco would likely do well in a home with people who can be patient while she settles in, and help her feel brave when she is still shy about everyone and everything new. She has a curious personality, so she will emerge from her shell pretty quickly. In the meantime, she likes having a couple of cozy, private spots to tuck herself into.

Coco Jones has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span.
