Sweet Pea is currently available for adoption from Kitten Crossing Rescue at the Auburn PetSmart.
Sweet Pea was found at a local park. A resident of a near by apartment complex who walks the park regularly saw her frequently over the course of several months and watched as she got dirtier and thinner every time she would run up to him for pets and food. He didn’t want to take someone’s outdoor cat but he just couldn’t watch her get thinner and thinner and do nothing. He brought her to Kitten Crossing Rescue for a microchip check and it was determined she was unfixed, had no microchip and was very, very hungry. The rescue posted that she was found in an attempt to locate a possible owner even though it was unlikely. No one came forward. The rescue had her spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. She has been so loving and appreciative from the start. She loves sleeping in her soft cat bed and eating her wet food! She doesn’t understand toys but isn’t afraid of them. She loves to be pet and has no issue with being picked up. She would do fine with kids that were 4 years or older than understand not to grab skin or fur. She seems ok with other cats with a slow intro. She has not been dog tested. She deserves a life better than the one she was living... could you be the one that gives her a new start?
Microchipped.
