Checkers (and Chess) are currently available for adoption from Kitten Crossing Rescue at the Auburn PetSmart.

CHECKERS AND CHESS WERE RETURNED AT NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. THEIR ADOPTER DEVELOPED HEALTH ISSUES AND COULD NO LONGER KEEP THEM.
THEY ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.

Checkers is the full package: part playful kitten, as you would expect, but also part caretaker and groomer for her sister Chess, part gymnast, and a yoga poser! She loves exploring and discovering new things, especially if she can play with them. Her favorite toy is a 3-tier track spinning toy with three ping-pong balls that she can spin around-and-around. Checker’s second favorite toy is her stuffed white lamb. While she does not usually enjoy being picked up, she does love to come and sit on your lap or cuddle next to you during the night on the bed. Checkers is a sweet and affectionate kitten with high energy that will warm your heart and make you smile.
