Snip is a 2-year-old tuxedo cat who came to us as a stray with an injury to his tail that required amputation, leaving him with an adorable little stump - which, as you may have guessed, is exactly how he got his name, and trust us, it only adds to his charm.

Snip is a friendly and social boy who enjoys company and loves a good scratch. He will always greet you with enthusiasm, though don't be surprised if he decides he isn't in the mood for your company. He is a boy that moves through life on his own terms. He is not a fan of being held, but he will happily settle in close by and let you know when he is in the mood for some attention. You can also win him over through mealtimes, as it is his favorite time of day. Snip takes his food seriously and will be waiting for you, ready and enthusiastic, every single time.

It is important to note that Snip can be a bit temperamental when overstimulated, and he is not shy about communicating that. He does best with adopters who are familiar with feline body language and know how to read the signs before he must spell it out for them.
