Meet Oliver - A Sweet Boy Who Is Ready to Find His Forever People

Oliver is an 8.5-year-old brown and white tabby cat who came to us as a surrender. He was a little reserved and guarded when he first arrived, but it didn't take long for this big, sweet-faced boy to come out of his shell and let his personality shine through.

Oliver is an affectionate cat who loves attention and will happily rub up against you to let you know he is fond of you. He enjoys gentle scratches and being close by, but he is also confident enough to let you know when he has had enough. Fair warning, even when he is the one asking for your attention, he isn't afraid to exercise his right to change his mind at any moment. Don't take it personally. Oliver is a cat who knows his own mind, and he appreciates when the people around him respect that. It is all part of his charm.

He is a happy, easy-going boy, but he does best with cat-savvy people who are comfortable reading feline body language, can respect his boundaries, and appreciate a cat who does things on his own terms. Oliver prefers being the only cat in the household, but he could do well with older, cat-savvy children who know how to interact respectfully with cats.
