Her Story

Some cats spend their whole lives looking for someone to love.

Grayson has been lucky enough to find that kind of love...

Now she's hoping for one last chapter.

In early 2024, a kind woman named Bobbi noticed a beautiful gray kitty hanging around a local feral colony. Unlike the others, Grayson wanted to be near people. It was obvious she'd once belonged to someone—and just as obvious someone had left her behind.

On April 7, 2024, Bobbi finally coaxed Grayson safely into her home.

That very same day, Grayson gave birth to four tiny kittens.

Bobbi reached out to FOR Animals for help, and Grayson and her babies came into foster care until the kittens were old enough to find homes.

Every one of her babies was adopted.

Then something beautiful happened.

Bobbi adopted Grayson.

The little stray she'd rescued became her beloved companion.

A few months ago, Bobbi passed away unexpectedly.

Once again, Grayson found herself looking for home.

Personality & Charm

When she first returned to foster care, Grayson spent a few quiet days hiding under the bed, missing the woman she loved.

But little by little, she wanted to be with people again. However, perhaps due to her time as a feral, she is afraid of other cats.

Today she's back to being the affectionate, gentle girl we've always known. She loves people, and enjoys children, and she has earned an advanced degree in biscuit making.

Grayson is gentle, adaptable, and happiest near her people. She enjoys quiet companionship, cozy naps, chin scratches, and simply being loved.
