Nori is a sweet, special girl who is waiting for the right home to help her truly blossom. She can be shy and cautious at first, but once she learns to trust you, her sweet personality starts to shine through.
Nori loves watching Cat TV, playing with interactive toys, chasing the laser, and batting at wand toys. She is also a BIG fan of canned food! When she decides it’s mealtime, she’ll happily follow us around, meowing and making sure we know that she is ready for her dinner.
Nori gets along well with other cats, especially those who are gentle and respectful of her space. She often enjoys the company of her feline friends and would do well with a calm, easygoing cat who can give her time to settle in.
When Nori feels nervous or overwhelmed, she may pace in the window while she takes everything in. She can also become a little overstimulated with too much petting and may give you a gentle little “boop” to let you know she’s had enough. She’s learning to communicate her boundaries, and we think the right person will appreciate her quirky little ways.
We truly believe Nori will be a very different cat in a quiet, patient home where she can move at her own pace. She may not be the cat who runs up to greet you on day one, but give her time, consistency, and a little patience, and you may discover a wonderful companion hiding underneath that shy exterior.
Nori is looking for someone who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. Her forever person may need to give her a little extra time, but we think watching this sweet girl come out of her shell will be incredibly rewarding. It has been for us!
