Meet the Nut Litter! Chestnut, Almond Joy, Hazelnut & Peanut!
These adorable little nuggets came to us with their feral mama, who was safely trapped, spayed, and returned (TNR). Thankfully, the babies were able to grow up in a loving foster home, where they’ve blossomed into sweet, playful, and downright PURR-fect little kittens!
At about 8 weeks old, these cuties will be ready to find their forever homes in just a few weeks! They will be spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption.
There is one thing potential adopters should know: their mama tested positive for FIV, so the kittens may also test positive while they still carry their mama’s antibodies. An FIV-positive result at this age does NOT mean a poor prognosis! Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, healthy lives. FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, so it is generally safe for FIV-positive cats to live with FIV-negative cats when they get along and don’t engage in serious fighting.
These little peanuts would love to be adopted in pairs or into homes with another young, playful kitty to grow up with. Kittens thrive with feline companionship, and having a buddy makes life even more fun!
