Ralph earned his name because his vocal meows sound almost like real words—and he is never shy about telling you exactly what he wants: head scratches, lap time, and endless love. He arrived as a stray with rough battle wounds on his face and ears from his days on the street. While those battle scars are fully healed, they just give him a distinguished look to match his gentle, laid-back couch potato lifestyle.

A Note on Ralph’s FIV+ Status:
Ralph tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). While the name sounds intimidating, FIV-positive cats typically live long, happy, normal lives indoors with basic wellness care and good nutrition. FIV is cat-only (it cannot spread to humans or dogs) and is primarily transmitted through deep, severe bite wounds. Because Ralph is a sweet, neutered gentleman who just wants to cuddle, FIV+ cats can easily coexist safely with other calm, non-aggressive cats.
