Ion is such a wonderful, chill, low-maintenance kitty! She is just so easygoing, so easy to care for and SOOOOO easy to fall in love with! She is just a genuine good girl through and through.

So Ion is kind of a strange name. She came to us with that name and we could not change it because she actually knows it and responds to it!

Ion's story is a sad one and unfortunately all too common:
Her family found themselves homeless and living out of their van in a Shoprite parking lot along with her. She eventually gave birth to SEVEN kittens while in the van. They were keeping the kittens in a carrier and they knew this was not a good situation for them. So not only did they surrender those adorable kittens to the rescue, but they surrendered their beautiful, beloved Ion to us as well, in the hopes that we could find her the kind of home she deserves.

She is a wonderful mommy and two of her babies, Mo & Junior, are also still available for adoption, but it is time for her to find her own happily ever after.
