Everyone’s favorite teddy bear is officially on the market! Meridian is ready to find his forever family!

This 3-year-old chill, easygoing boy exudes love and adoration. His favorite activity is just lounging next to, or preferably on, you. He lovessss snuggles, wants nothing more than to be curled up with his favorite humans, and considers anyone who pets him or gives him attention a friend almost immediately.

He’s not subtle about his love either. He would like to sleep with his face pressed up against yours, making biscuits on your pillow, every single night for the rest of his life. The cuddle is real with this boy! He also loves being held like a baby, and if you cradle him while giving him cheek scratches, he’ll happily make air biscuits in delight.

Meridian had a sad start to life before finding his way into rescue, but he’s more than ready to make up for lost time with a lifetime of love and comfort. He’s still figuring out what to do with cat toys, but he’s well beyond his kitten years, at 3 years old, and isn’t particularly interested in playtime from what we’ve seen so far. He’d much rather find a sunny, cozy spot to nap than participate in any ruckus. In short, if you’re looking for a professional couch potato, Meridian would be perfect for you!

We’ve also made sure Meridian has received some important veterinary care recently, including dental surgery and a cardiology consultation, to help him feel his very best as he prepares for his next chapter. We’re happy to discuss the details of his medical history and care with prospective adopters but he requires nothing out of the ordinary in terms of daily life.

Meridian does well with other chill cats when given a proper introduction, or he’d be equally thrilled to be your only cat and the center of your world. We think he could do without the chaos of young children and would prefer a more quiet home.

He’s sweet, he’s silly, and he’s ready to bring an immense amount of love to your home. After everything he’s been through, we can’t wait for Meridian to experience the wonderful life he deserves with a family of his very own.
