Approximately 2 years (approx. DOB: 9/15/2023) Meet Niko! This sweet, shy girl will warm your heart the moment you meet her. By nature, Niko is a little timid at first, but once she feels comfortable, she only wants to be close to you every moment possible. She thrives in a home full of life — she loves being part of a pack of cats, enjoys activity around her, and would do best with someone home for most of the day. Niko's favorite things include lounging in cat trees, birdwatching from the window, curling up beside her human for naps and bedtime snuggles, and most of all, watching Cat TV 24/7. Right now, Niko eats only wet food — a mix of shreds and a little pâté — though her foster mom is still searching for the perfect dry food to win over her taste buds. Niko truly enjoys the company of other cats, especially calm, non-dominant feline friends. She would do best in a home with another cat companion, as she does not thrive as an only cat. She also does wonderfully around dogs and isn't bothered by having them nearby. With time and the right canine friend, we think she may even become a cuddle buddy. Niko has already been through so much in her short life, but despite it all, she still has endless love to give. Now all she needs is someone willing to give her the chance she deserves.
