We don't usually write a biography for two cats at once, but this sweet mother/daughter duo share everything, and you really can't get to know one of them without the other!

Josephine, the devoted mother, and Emma, her daughter, share a bond based on survival and love. The duo came from a rough situation where survival wasn’t guaranteed, yet somehow, they made their way through... and held on tight to each other. Since then, they’ve been inseparable, forming a bond that is as rare as it is beautiful.

Josephine and Emma aren’t just cats who get along. They’re a family, a team, and a reminder of resilience and love. They'll be a beautiful addition to a loving forever family.

Josephine is the heart of the duo: bubbly, gentle, and full of quiet kindness. She has an innocent sweetness about her, and a protective, nurturing instinct when it comes to Emma. She’s a loving presence who seems to understand just how special their connection is.

Emma, her daughter, brings a different kind of charm. She’s a bit more cautious at first, observing the world with her wide, expressive eyes that make her look forever kitten-like. But in a flash, that soft gaze can turn into a mischievous, almost “tiny troublemaker” look that gives her a playful edge. It’s part of what makes her so endearing.

Together, they do everything side by side: sleeping in little tangled bundles, grooming each other, playing, basking in the sun, or simply sitting close, as if that alone is enough. Their relationship isn’t just companionship; it’s a deep, comforting partnership that you can feel just by being around them.

These two gals also adore their foster family and are always in the middle of the action! They love pets and snuggles, and bring a calm energy to any room. They are so loving and adorable -- they are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!

Josephine and Emma are looking for a home where they can stay together... just as they’ve always been.

Emma and Josephine have been around cats in their foster home and they do very well in that environment! They would both be great in a home with another resident cat, but please consult your veterinarian on vaccines and recommendations due to Josephine's FeLV+ status.

Emma is ~1 year old and Josephine is ~2 years old. They are both spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home.
