Fergie was exposed to but tested negative for Feline Leukemia. It is a disease that can't be treated, but infected cats are still able to live a happy and healthy life! Until retested in 6-12 months, she should live in a home with no other cats so as not to expose any other healthy cats. Because of this, it is highly recommended this kitten be adopted with a litter mate, as they have already been exposed to the disease and no other cats need be exposed this way. We always recommend adopting multiple FeLV cats together, especially if there are available litter mates, so they always have someone to play and snuggle with!
