Mick - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Vancouver, Washington

I'll be honest with you - my courage comes in very small doses right now. New homes and unfamiliar faces send me straight into "invisible cat" mode, even though part of me desperately wants to come out and play. I'm looking for a family who won't let me become a permanent furniture decoration, but will instead help me practice being brave one pawstep at a time. With gentle encouragement and maybe some strategic treat placement, I know I can learn that the world is full of good things worth coming out for.
Here's what you need to know about me:
If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and would like to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.
I'd do well with other cats. I lived in a home with over 20! I find more comfort in cats than people right now, so it'll help me adjust too.
I need to be adopted with my best friend, Aralia! A member of the adoption team can tell you more.
