Bern came to us after being euthanasia risk due to behavior aka a scared boy in a shelter setting. Because of this he is a little quirky, but has really opened up well in a foster home! Over the weeks he has learned people aren't so scary and actually give great pets and yummy treats. His fur is very soft so it is hard not to touch him and he loves to be brushed, which is good for his medium length fur. However, because he is still learning to trust humans, he needs slow approach and time to settle in at his pace. With this factor also, he often watches his confident cat friends closely and is quickly picking up their habit of seeking affection. This sweet boy is growing braver every day as he discovers how good it feels to be loved.
Bern is also playful, squeaks adorably when he wants something, and purrs loud enough to announce his happiness. His warm brownorange eyes, besides being gorgeous, make him look permanently curious. He truly is such a handsome, loving, deserving boy who will create such a special bond with his people!

Bern should go to a forever home with kitty friends who enjoy playing and interacting with him for his confidence. No dogs are ideal for his comfort and older, respectful kids.
