Meet Pumpkin!

At just about a year old, Pumpkin has already been through more than any young cat should. She spent the beginning of her life outside, where she became a mama to four tiny kittens. For 5.5 weeks, she did everything she could to keep her babies safe, warm, and well fed. She never gave up on them.

Then, when she finally had the chance, Pumpkin claimed her spot with us at the rescue. Her kittens are now almost grown and ready to start their own lives and that means it’s finally Pumpkin’s turn.

Because after spending so much of her young life taking care of everyone else, Pumpkin deserves someone to take care of her.

Pumpkin is an absolute lovebug. She LOVES attention and will happily soak up affection from her people. She is a snuggler, a cuddler, and the kind of cat who wants to be close to you and know that she is loved. She has so much affection to give and is going to make someone a wonderful companion.


We are still getting to know Pumpkin’s feelings about other cats, so her compatibility with feline friends is currently unknown.

There is something especially sweet about watching a young mama finally realize that she doesn't have to fend for herself anymore. Pumpkin has done her job. She raised her babies. She kept them alive. She brought them this far.

Now she needs someone to choose her.

Pumpkin will be ready to go home September 20th, after she receives her vaccines and has her spay appointment on the books.
