Minerva - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Sioux City, Iowa

Meet Minerva! Minerva is a beautiful 4-month-old black-and-white kitten with soft, medium-length fur and a story that’s still being written. She was found as a stray in a window well and likely came from a feral cat colony, so adjusting to indoor life—and learning that humans can be trusted—has taken a little time. But Minerva is making progress every day! Her hisses are becoming fewer and farther between, and she’s learning to accept affection and discover that being loved isn’t so bad after all. She may not be a lap kitten just yet, but with continued patience and positive experiences, we know this sweet girl will continue to blossom. One thing Minerva already knows for sure? She loves other cats! She gets along wonderfully with her feline friends and would do best in a home with a confident, cat-friendly companion who can help show her the ropes and bring out her playful side. Minerva isn’t looking for someone who expects an instant best friend. She’s looking for a patient, understanding family willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Give this special girl a chance, and you may just get the privilege of watching her become the confident, happy cat we know is hiding inside. Minerva has received age appropriate vaccinations, is microchipped, and litter box trained. She has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and she will need to be spayed at 6 months old. Her adoption fee is $50. Click on the link below to complete an adoption application.
