Leo - Domestic Medium Hair and Maine Coon Cat for Adoption in San Anselmo, California

Meet Leo, a gorgeous 18-month-old brown tabby with a white belly. He has a fluffy tail, an impressively large build, and stunning, soulful eyes that immediately draw you in. He is big and handsome, with a wonderfully sweet nature and a personality that is impossible not to love.

Leo is truly full of character. He is affectionate, funny, and surprisingly playful for such a large cat. One moment he can look very dignified and serious, and the next he is playing with a toy like a little kitten. He enjoys attention, loves being petted, and is happiest when he can relax near his person.

He is also expressive. If worried, unsure, or simply wants to “complain” about something, he will let you know with his little conversation. Once he feels safe, he becomes warm, trusting, gentle, quiet, and very companionable.

Leo has a lovely Maine Coon-like personality: social, confident, affectionate, easygoing, and people-oriented. He gets along well with other cats.

Leo was found running outside and was rescued. He adjusted beautifully to indoor life and is now looking for a loving home where he can relax and become part of the family. Because of the stressful time he spent outside, he may be a little nervous at first with new people or unfamiliar surroundings. With patience and kindness, he adapts well and becomes a loyal, loving friend once he feels safe and comfortable.

Leo is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and litter-box trained; received deworming and flea-prevention treatment.

Leo is a true gentle giant with a big personality — loving, playful, funny, expressive, incredibly sweet, and unforgettable with those beautiful eyes. He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a cat with both presence and heart.

If you are interested in bringing Leo home, please send us an email, text, or call Natalie at 916-801-2243. Please share a little about yourself and the home you can provide for this gorgeous boy. Thank you.
