Selina Kyle (2 years) and Helena Wayne (9 months) are a bonded Mother-Daughter pair that are adoptable in Orange County/Southern California.
Selina was caught in Ontario, California and surprised the TNR people by giving birth to her seven little kittens on April Fools Day. She was transferred to Cats & Cuddles and we were delighted to discover that she was not feral, but incredibly friendly and sweet.
A week later, the community colony feeder reported that her eldest daughter was very distraught without her mother, and asked if we would consider taking her in. Helena is semi-feral, and does not enjoy being with people yet, though she isn't aggressive-- only fearful. She is, however, so incredibly devoted to her mother and was so happy to be reunited with her, and to get to meet all her brand new little siblings.
Selina is an absolutely stellar mama, and has taken in stride the acquisition of a few additional babies to the BatFamily, happily accepting three little additions as her own. Helena has been a delightful older sister, playing, grooming, and cuddling with her baby siblings. (A little too roughly at first, but she learned appropriate strength for playing with the babies!)
Selina and Helena are both spayed and vaccinated, deflea'd and dewormed. Selina is FIV+ (This means she is immuno-compromised, she can still live a long and healthy life, it is just reccomended that she only be with her daughter, or that additional cats in the household should also be FIV+)
