Hi there! My name is Danielle, and I'm a shy girl who's still learning to trust again. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was pretty nervous and spent most of my time hiding in my cozy den box. But with patience and gentle hands, I've started to come around! I love when someone flips open my towel so we can see each other, and I've discovered that head scratches and gentle pets feel absolutely wonderful. I might flinch a little at first because I'm still building my confidence, but I'm making real progress every single day.
I'm looking for a calm, quiet home where I can take my time opening up to my new family. I do best as the only cat, which helps me feel secure and allows me to bond deeply with my person. With a patient adopter who understands that good things take time, I know I can blossom into the affectionate companion I'm meant to be.
