DESCRIPTION
Meet Tracer
Tracer (a.k.a Spring as named by my children) is the remaining kitten from her litter. She is the most skittish of her littermates, her first instinct with any sound or boisterous movement is to bolt. However, once she realizes everything is fine she comes back out. She loves to play with wand toys, balls, bells and scratching posts. She "mews" for attention and LOVES to get pets. Once she feels safe and secure she will curl up in your lap and purr like nobody's business and she loves taking lap naps. She HATES being picked up, HATES kisses, but tolerates nose boops. She is very good at finding hiding places and loves to be under chairs and couches.
She does not like any wet food we have tried (we've tried several) and prefers dry food. Oddly enough, she also turns her nose up at tube treats and prefers hard treats.
I think in the right home environment she will open up and blossom into a beautiful cat, but she needs time to come out of her shell and would probably prefer a quiet stable environment with less "action" than my home which has 3 kids under 8. That said, when any of my children sit in the kitten room calmly, she comes right over and climbs into their laps, licks their hands and arms and happily plays with them.
The biggest issue we have encountered is that she does NOT like to use the litter box for pee. We are currently working on it, but she will be a cat that needs to be confined to a small area for several days when she first comes home with you until you are sure she is using the box without accidents. If she were a human I think she'd be diagnosed with sensory issues hahahaha.
