Domestic Medium Hair Cats Available for Adoption in North Richland Hills, Texas

This sweet male kitten is around 9–10 weeks old and has already been through more than most kittens ever should. He was brought to a local emergency vet after being found drowning in a backyard pool. When he came to us, he was extremely sick and scared but despite everything he’s been through, this little guy fought hard and made an incredible recovery. Now, he’s finally ready to find the forever home he deserves. ✨

Because of his rough start in life, he can be very wary of new people and unfamiliar situations. You can tell he wants love and affection, but he will need a patient and understanding family willing to give him time to adjust at his own pace. Once he feels safe, you can see the sweet kitten hiding underneath all that fear. 🥺 We believe he likely came from an outdoor or stray litter before somehow ending up alone in someone’s pool. He’s still small and has plenty of time to continue building confidence, but he will need a calm home committed to helping him feel secure and loved.

He does wonderfully with dogs and other cats, and having another confident animal around may even help him continue coming out of his shell. Because he’s still learning to trust, we would recommend a home without young children so he can adjust comfortably without too much stress.

Before going to his new home, he will come:

✨ FVRCP vaccinated
✨ Microchipped
✨ Dewormed
✨ Fecal checked
✨ With an applied dose of Revolution Plus
✨ Spay/neuter covered by the rescue at 4–6 months through TCAP (Texas Coalition for Animal Protection)

There will be a $180 adoption fee due at adoption. Adoption contracts will also be signed prior to adoption to ensure he receives the safe and loving future he deserves.
