Mui (Bonded to Lana) - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

Lana and Mui are a pair of loving, bonded girls looking for their furever home!

Initially joining our network at just 3 days old, Lana and Mui were orphaned neonates found by Good Samaritans in New York. Their mom was not around, and they were brought into one of our partner clinics.

From there, we started bottle feeding them every 2-3 hours. For the next 5 weeks, they remained on a strict bottle feeding schedule as we weighed and monitored them every day.

Now they are approximately 2.5 months old and they have blossomed into a beautiful pair of social girls that fought to not just survive, but thrive.

Lana is a tabby & calico mix- a tabico! Primarily exhibiting brown tabby markings, she's also got splashes of orange and sandy brown across her coat. Her beautiful yellow-green eyes and little brown nose are the perfect touch to completing her mini-bobcat look. Lana was very dehydrated upon arrival and she got sick at 2 weeks old. Despite all these hurdles, she pulled through and loves showing off how strong she is. She is a huge fan of climbing anything and everything!

Mui is a medium-haired orange and white kitty, which a hint of a ginger tabby in the markings on her face, limbs, and tail. Mui is hard of hearing and has a very slight head wobble (probably a super mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia as noted by the vet), but neither of these conditions has interfered with her quality of life. Even though she is deaf, Mui vocalizes- she has the cutest little chirps and trills. She is a very smart girl and is incredibly responsive to sight, touch, and smell. She loves chasing brooms when it is time to sweep the floor!

Lana and Mui are the definition of perfection. They grew up being handled by humans, so they are incredible affectionate and truly enjoy cuddling with their caretakers. They are both very energetic kittens who love spending time together as well. Whether they are napping, play-fighting, or watching TV with their foster family, they are always together. Their favorite toys are wand toys and they love treats. They'll wake up from a deep sleep the second they sense a puree tube treat or freeze dried treat is being offered.

Lana and Mui are up to date on vaccines and parasite treatment. They are fully litter trained. Once they reach 3-4 months of age, they will be scheduled for their spay procedures in coordination with their adopters.

Lana and Mui must be adopted together- no exceptions. These girls were orphaned, bottle fed, and raised together. Mui is able to coordinate day to day activities with Lana by her side acting as her little guide. We look forward to finding these girls a wonderful home where they can spend the rest of their lives together!
