Good morning! We are THE MITZI BITZI SPIDER BABIES! Remember our story? Our mamas, Mitzi & Bitzi, gave birth in a foster home only one hour apart, just a day after they were rescued from a hoarding case True Rescue was working. They never left our sides, and co-nursed and co-parented throughout our tiny little lives. We considered them both our mamas. They were so sweet, they even took on an orphan, which is Recluse, who is part of the family now.
Our Mama Bitzi's litter, consisting of Tarantula, Daddy Long Legs and Wolf, had some issues. They were all diagnosed with CH - Cerebellar Hypoplasia. They can live long, healthy lives, but this condition is known as "Wobbly Cat Syndrome", and takes some adjustment. It can improve as they get older and get more accustomed to the condition, but they are just normal kittens otherwise, you will just need extra kitten-proofing, and easier litter boxes to access...things like that. The True Rescue staff members can tell you all about their needs. The rest of us are fine, and were not diagnosed with CH. Our only other setback was that we all contracted ringworm, (thanks to our mamas), and had to be held back from Adoption Events until now. It was no big deal, but we are certainly anxious now to find our forever homes!
We will be at the True Rescue shelter in Mt. Juliet today from 11-3, and we hope to see you there! Thanks for supporting this rescue. We can't imagine what our lives would have been like had our mamas not have been rescued. We will see you very soon!!
