Introducing Tizzy! This lovely 4-year-old girl is such a treasure. She's a highly social, companionable, affectionate girl who loves to give kisses and head bops. With her fluffy, soft white and chocolate-colored coat, she's a beauty who's hard to resist. It's a good thing that she loves to be held, carried and generally loved on. She's confident and trusting, and likes to be by her people all day - her fosters pull up a stool for her wherever they are because she doesn't like to be left out, and always likes to see what they're up to.

Tizzy is particularly drawn to men and teenage boys (she will rub on their stubble and surrender her head into their hands to get head rubbies), but she interacts with children and all members of her foster household, and is excited to meet new people when company comes. She does give love bites to her foster family, so she would do best in a home without small children or inexperienced adopters. Tizzy is a pretty calm girl, but does get zoomies at times, and loves to explore. Her favorite activity is to chirp and chase after the laser pointer. She also loves to explore the back patio on a leash, especially when she can watch fireflies. She has a delightful quirk of sleeping face-down.

Tizzy would most prefer a home where she's the only cat, and promises to be all the cat you need. Although she has no interest in other cats, she has learned to co-exist with one of the cats in her foster home. She would need a slow and proper introduction if introduced to other cats.

*** Tizzy has been diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy - our medical team indicated that she has a condition where the left ventricular outflow of her heart has a mild tract obstruction. She does no need cardiac medications at this time due to its mild nature. Her short term prognosis is great, but it is difficult to determine her long term prognosis because this condition can progress at different rates. It is recommended that her adopters follow up with a cardiologist to monitor her condition going forward. She is an incredibly beautiful and sweet girl, that is worth the extra effort!
