Pepper was born in a cat colony near a dumpster and started life as a half-starved, frightened kitten. When trapped for spaying, it was clear she was ready to bond with a human and didn't belong on back on the streets. She has since tested negative for heartworm, FeLV, and FIV.

Her striking coloring and stoic charm won over our team. Now thriving in foster care with multiple cats, Pepper enjoys batting toys across the room and never turns down wet food or a Churu treat. She loves playing with other cats and then seeking out a cozy lap for a well-earned nap.

She hasn't been around dogs or young children. The ideal adopter is an experienced cat parent who understands Pepper's journey from street to lap.
