Her rescuer had the delightful idea to name each kitten after an iconic New Orleans food. Since a beignet is a light, airy pastry with a soft, pillowy center, the name suits Beignet perfectly--she has a plush coat and a nose that seems dusted with a little confectioners' sugar, along with a tender little heart to match.

Beignet is a playful, curious, and adventurous kitten who loves to run, explore, and enjoy time with her roommates. She is full of energy and fun, but when it's cuddle time, she melts into affection with a soft purr and a gentle nature.
