Ivy is a confident, playful, and affectionate cat who absolutely loves being around people. She quickly warms up to new friends and enjoys spending her time cuddling, playing, and simply hanging out with her favorite humans. During her time in foster care, she was wonderful with a 10-year-old child, happily playing, snuggling, and sharing space together.
When it comes to affection, Ivy is all in! She loves curling up on laps and soaking up pets and attention. Just be prepared, sometimes cuddle sessions turn into play sessions because Ivy is always ready for some fun. She especially enjoys string toys, chasing moving objects, and attempting to pounce on unsuspecting toes.
Ivy can be a little unsure of other animals when first introduced and appreciates having the time and space to settle in at her own pace. While she initially preferred to keep her distance from both dogs and cats, she made impressive progress during her foster stay and eventually learned to coexist comfortably with the resident pets. With proper introductions, patience, and a gradual adjustment period, Ivy could do well in a home with other animals.
