He will patiently wait his turn for food, toys and love but when he finds you alone and doesn’t have to compete with anyone for your attention – he will hop in your lap and plop down for a nice, long love session. Black Lightning is just as sweet as he can be and is often found in his favorite spot, perched in a window watching the world go by. With winter right around the corner, he will make an excellent lap kitty, keeping you warm and cozy through the cold winter nights. ** Come meet me this Saturday (8.29.26) at the Fort Collins PetSmart for our Mobiles adoption event! This event is from 10am-2pm, or until all animals are adopted!

This is a first-come, first-served event, so we recommend arriving early if you have a specific furry friend in mind. PetSmart doors open at 9am, and we will begin distributing adoption numbers at that time. Please head to the back of the store and check in at the event table.

This event operates on a number system. Upon arrival, please be sure to get your number from our check in table—groups will be called in order throughout the event.

To receive a number, you must be an approved adopter within the last 3 months. Paper applications will be available on-site, and you can also apply in advance through our website.

Please note, if they are signed up to attend the event they cannot be met with or adopted prior to the event.
