My foster writes:
Meet Epilogue (Epi)!
Epi is a big, fluffy sweetheart with stunning green eyes, an adorable trill, and a heart that's learning what it means to be loved. Like many former strays, Epi didn't know if humans could be trusted. When he first came into foster care, he spent his days hiding, hissing, and refusing to come out.
But with time, patience, and plenty of quiet company (and shared mealtimes), Epi began to realize he was finally safe. Watching him blossom has been incredibly special. The first time he climbed onto the bed to nap beside me felt like the greatest compliment, I knew he had chosen to trust.
Today, Epi is a lovable, slightly awkward giant who loves long naps, good meals, and discovering the joy of toys. Seeing his eyes light up with excitement during playtime is a reminder that he's still experiencing so many "firsts." He's talkative in the sweetest way, greeting you with soft little meows and happy trills, and when he gives you a head butt or curls up next to you, it feels like you've truly earned his love.
Epi is looking for someone who understands that trust takes time. He'll thrive with a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace and continue showing him that the world is a safe place. In return, you'll gain an incredibly loyal, gentle companion whose affection is genuine, hard-earned, and absolutely priceless.
If you're looking for a cat with a beautiful story and an even more beautiful heart, Epi is waiting to choose you
Meet Epilogue. He is a big, fluffy former stray who is still figuring things out. Right now, he's more of an observer than a participant, often choosing a cozy perch where he can watch the world from. While he's still building his confidence around humans, he does have a soft spot for treats and his gentle eyes give a glimpse into the sweet boy beneath.
We know shelter life can be pretty overwhelming, especially for sensitive cats like Epilogue. He is looking for a patient best friend that understand trust takes time. Just like the very best stories. He'd likely settle in best in a calm, experienced home without small children. We think that with a little love and lots of understanding, he has a beautiful next chapter ahead of him.
Could you be part of his happy ending? Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 12.4lbs Age: 5yrs 2mths 2wks Animal has been Neutered
