Lola - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in El Segundo, California

Lola is paralyzed and incontinent due to traumatic spinal injury that occurred when she was only 2-3 weeks old before she came into our care. She had a full evaluation by the neurologist who determined that she will always be paralyzed and incontinent due to the type and severity of her spinal fractures.

But that’s ok! She is happy, healthy, and thriving!! She just requires a little extra care. She's the sweetest, snuggliest, silliest, most loving girl who deserves a forever family who loves her just the way she is!

Lola’s special care requirements:

1. Lola must have her bladder manually expressed 3-4x a day and her bowels expressed 1-2x a day. She is so easy going for expressions and is a great kitty to learn on, since her bladder and bowels are also easy to express!

No experience necessary, I will teach you how to express her!

2. Lola needs to be diapered to protect her genitals from dragging on the ground.

3. I will help you adapt your home to reduce potential hazards and increase accessibility. No drastic changes are needed! Just some cord hiders and some pet stairs onto the couch

4. There will be a foster-to-adopt period where you will have time to see how Lola fits into your home and into your life. If you find that she doesn’t fit, you return her to us

That’s it! Lola just needs someone willing to give her a few extra minutes of care each day to continue to thrive
