Meet Shia LeFluff!
If you're looking for a cat who is essentially a living, breathing teddy bear with whiskers, meet Shia LeFluff.
This 7-year-old medium-haired tabby boy is an absolute lovebug who looooooves his people. He wants to snuggle on you, next to you, and sometimes directly on top of you. He'll happily flop onto your chest or even your face for a full-body cuddle session, wrapping you up in what can only be described as a bear hug from a cat.
Shia is also a chatty guy who isn't shy about telling you exactly how he's feeling. Whether he's happy to see you, hoping for some attention, or simply has something important to say, he'll make sure his humans are kept fully informed. He has opinions, and he's not afraid to share them!
One of Shia's favorite activities is dramatically flopping over to reveal his belly, because obviously those soft tummy floofs are meant to be admired and gently rubbed. He is very much a professional snuggler and nap enthusiast, with occasional short bursts of playtime sprinkled throughout his day. Otherwise, he's perfectly content to curl up with his favorite person or gaze peacefully out the window and watch the world go by.
Shia's journey hasn't been without a few bumps. He was found as a stray with a chronic ear infection that caused one of his ears to permanently bend. His previous ear issues also left him with a likely permanent head tilt, but it doesn't bother him or slow him down in the slightest. In fact, we've seen this supposedly "delicate" gentleman casually climb a six-foot fence before he was rescued and upgraded to the indoor life. So don't let the head tilt fool you. There's still plenty of athleticism hiding underneath all that floof!
Shia recently had a dental and had an ear polyp removed, and his ear infection was treated, so he's feeling great and ready to enjoy the good life he deserves.
Shia is also FIV+, which can sound intimidating at first, but it truly isn't considered special needs. With a loving indoor home and the same routine veterinary care all cats should receive, FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives with life expectancies similar to other cats. When it comes to feline roommates, Shia isn't a fan of being bossed around by alpha or aggressive cats. He seems much more comfortable with calm, easygoing, passive feline friends. He also appears to do well with dogs and could likely adjust to a cat-friendly dog with a proper introduction.
At 7 years old, Shia has left the kitten chaos behind and fully embraced his true calling: professional cuddle buddy, belly-flop enthusiast, and household commentator. He's soft, sweet, wonderfully affectionate, and ready to spend his golden years surrounded by people who appreciate an excellent belly flop, a good old-fashioned bear hug, and a cat who will happily tell you all about his day.
