Nia - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Charlottesville, Virginia

This is Nia, who was born and has lived in a local colony all her life, but, much to our delight, we discovered she is friendly and loves pets!

The vet estimates Nia to be 8-10 years old, and all those years outdoors wore on her and she has very few teeth left. Being a nearly toothless wonder means that she has a pretty permanent, and pretty adorable, blep--her tiny pink tongue peeks out most of the time!

Nia is busy caring for her kitten GrayV right now, but we are accepting adoption applications for when she retires from her mama cat duties.

The Domestic Medium Hair cat is a versatile and beloved breed known for its medium length coat that comes in a wide range of colors and patterns. These affectionate and playful cats are often found in shelters, as they are not a recognized breed but rather a classification for cats of mixed ancestry. Despite their mixed heritage, Domestic Medium Hairs possess unique personalities and make wonderful companions for families and individuals looking for a loving feline companion.
