### Meet Jam Jam... aka Jim Jam!
Jam. Jam Jam. Jim Jam. Whatever you call her, **she is 100% herself—and we wouldn't change a thing.**
Jam is almost 3 months old and came to us from another rescue when she needed a little more medical care than they were able to provide. And honestly, we're pretty darn glad she made her way to us because **Jam is one very special little weirdo.**
At one point, Jam mysteriously lost her vision. We don't know exactly why, but thankfully she has regained some of it. Her eyes are still a little "off," and she doesn't track things quite like a typical kitten, so she likely has some degree of visual impairment.
Then there's her leg.
Jam had some open wounds that simply wouldn't heal, and ultimately the decision was made to amputate one of her legs. But if you think being a tripod with funky eyes is going to slow this girl down, **you clearly haven't met Jam.**
Because Jam has apparently decided that life is for **LIVING.**
She LOVES to play. She LOVES other cats. And she has apparently appointed herself the official friend of **EVERYONE.**
Doesn't matter if you're a young, playful kitten or a crabby old grandma cat who would really prefer to be left alone.
**Jam says, "FRIEND!!!"**
She also frequently walks around with the very tip of her tongue sticking out, because apparently her list of adorable weirdness wasn't quite long enough already.
Jam's eyes may not work perfectly. She may be missing a leg. Her tongue may have a permanent cameo appearance.
But none of that seems to have convinced Jam that she is anything other than a **totally normal, completely fabulous kitten who has places to go and friends to make.**
Her medical issues do not require ongoing care, but her future family needs to understand that Jam will never be a completely "typical" cat. She may navigate the world a little differently, and she'll need a home willing to embrace her quirks rather than expect her to act like every other kitten.
And honestly?
**Why would you want every other kitten when you could have Jam?**
She is goofy. She is affectionate. She is endlessly entertaining. She is resilient. She is social. She is a little bit wonky.
And we absolutely **LOVE her exactly the way she is.**
Jam isn't looking for someone to feel sorry for her.
She's looking for someone who looks at this ridiculous little girl and says:
**"Yep. That's my weirdo."**
And we think that person is going to be pretty lucky.
