Pergola and Purgatory: These two little cuties were carried into the shelter by their pregnant mother when she was picked up as a stray. She gave birth within hours of arrival. They were raised in a foster home and returned to CHA when they were old enough to be spayed and put up for adoption. We know that black cats take longer to adopt but still can't believe someone hasn't taken these two home. Ideally we would love for them to continue their adventure together as they have never been apart. Please consider these two black beauties, we guarantee you will absolutely adore them!All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
